Pathsala (pāṭhaśālā)

Pathsala is one very small but culturally rich town in Barpeta District, Assam, India.
There is Railway as well as Bus communication to Pathsala.
Mobile theatres in Assam started here, with Nataraaj Theatre First and Kohinur Theatre later on. Bajali College is situated here.
People speak assamese here, and more than 95% of native people are Hindu, and around 90% of them are Assamese.
